In the thirteen years I’ve been a part of the Human Resources industry, the most rewarding experience has been the relationships I’ve developed with the men and women that have chosen to travel down the high risk-reward path of entrepreneurism.
My first six years in the industry were spent at Productivity Point in Chicago, where I helped Fortune 500 sized organizations train and develop their people, everything from the IT staff to the outside salesforce to the corporate administration employees. Companies like Kraft Foods, WW Grainger, Walgreens, Allstate, and Discover Card.
The next seven years it was role reversal, working for a 45,000 employee giant and developing a client base of small- and mid-sized businesses, typically with revenues south of $50M and under 200 employees.
The best thing about what I do today is that I firmly believe NovationHR helps our clients become better businesses and employers, and that what we do every day for our clients is essential and meaningful to them.
